While the Warriors got the upper hand on most occasions, the 2016 Finals is still a sore subject for the team, as the Warriors surrendered a 3-1 lead to the Cavs as the latter won the NBA championship.

Draymond is still the enforcer
For the Warriors, Green is their defensive enforcer and the emotional leader of the team. He is most vocal during the game, talking and shouting to his teammates so that they increase their focus. This season, Green has served as the primary mentor for Warriors’ rookie James Wiseman, often talking to him and telling him what to do, and reprimanding him when he goes wrong.

Draymond’s presence for the Warriors is understated. Prior to his return this season, the Warriors had been struggling, especially on the defensive end of the court. While his return hasn’t sent the Warriors on a winning streak, it has allowed them to get some significant wins against the Lakers, Clippers, and the Trail Blazers. Green is crucial if the Dubs aim to reach the playoffs this year.
