It was only last season that the Warriors were hoisting the illustrious Larry O’Brien trophy. Stephen Curry was at the helm, manufacturing one of his finest playoff series. However, according to Ayesha, Steph doesn’t wallow in the wins for long – it’s always about looking forward. It’s similar to when he comes home after a loss.

“The wins roll off his back, but the losses roll off, too. He never lingers too long in the stink of a loss. He kind of just keeps it moving,” said Ayesha Curry about The Chef’s mentality.

Many uncertainties hang over the Warriors before their next season begins. Will their core stay together? Will Stephen Curry have to face another rebuild? These curiosities will only be answered once they check back in next season. However, one thing that remains constant, the Baby Face Assassin will buy into the mission and leave it all out for the Bay.

Curry was already looking forward to the next season

There was sorrow for the Warriors whose season ended following a Game 6 loss to the Lakers. The locker room had tensions flaring, many questions were being asked about certain stars. It was the first time they had lost before getting to the NBA Finals since 2014 after all. While addressing the loss, Stephen Curry admitted he knew the season was over mid-way through the final quarter.

“Felt in the fourth quarter with about seven minutes left,” he said.

He wasn’t used to being in such a setting unless it was a loss on the grand stage. While it was difficult to adjust to it, Curry knew the right thing to do was to look ahead.

“You just really never heard that from us before in terms of trying to make sense of losing a series like we did, unless it’s been in the finals. Gotta accept it, move on, and try to be better next year,” reported Sports Illustrated.
