Kevin continued to play for OKC after his MVP season
Durant played 2 more seasons for the Thunder after winning the MVP. His next 2 seasons were great, but not as good as his MVP season. Durant and the Thunder couldn’t get past the Spurs in the 2014 West Finals. But they came back in 2016 to play the Warriors in the conference finals. They had a 3-1 lead. Just then the splash brothers stepped up and came back to eventually win the series.
Durant had a decent career in OKC, going to the Finals at best where he lost against LeBron‘s Heat. He signed with the Warriors in 2016 and had 2 Finals MVP trophies under his name in the next 2 years. Durant is one of the greats with surreal journeys in the league.
