Celebrities showing their allegiances in the NBA is not rare. Eminent personalities like Drake and Snoop Dogg openly admit their love for their favorite teams. In one such instance, Spiderman star Zendaya revealed her favorite basketball player to be Stephen Curry.
Interestingly enough, a fellow Golden State Warriors star asked her out. It is none other than the latest Warriors superstar, Jordan Poole.
Poole used his friendship with Klay Thompson to ask out Zendaya. All the way back in 2019, Thompson dated another Spiderman star, Laura Harrier. Harrier tagged Thompson in a post that drew a comment from Zendaya herself, and Poole used this opportunity to shoot his shot at her.

Poole wrote, “double date?” while tagging both Klay and Zendaya. Safe to say, he knew how to make headlines even before becoming a star in the NBA!
Despite his gracious offer, it seems Zendaya is interested in the Warriors’ main man. When asked about her favorite basketball player, she did not hesitate to say, “Currently, Steph Curry.” Among the millions of fans around the world, Curry has added a loyal follower in Hollywood!
How have Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole performed this season?
Stephen Curry is the undoubted leader of the Golden State Warriors. This is evident from the string of bad performances from the team during his absence due to an injury. Despite facing injury issues this season, Curry has maintained his elite performances. He averaged 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists this season.
On the other hand, Jordan Poole is the latest superstar on the Warriors roster. Through his streak of good performances during the playoffs, he has pushed the case of becoming the ‘third splash brother.’

He averaged 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists this season. Although these numbers might not seem impressive, his playoff numbers surely will. In the first-round matchup against the Nuggets, Poole averaged 21 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.
