Preview

After missing five consecutive games with a back injury, Anthony Davis returned for the Los Angeles Lakers with 28 points. He went out of a game against New York Knicks and two weeks later, Davis came back to lead the Lakers to a win against the same team. In their 92-100 win, LeBron James increased his impressive points tally by 21. Their win over the Knicks came after Boston Celtics inflicted their ninth loss in the league. The Lakers’ record in the season reads an impressive 35-9 and they are comfortably on top of the Western Conference.

As for the Nets, their season has been not as impressive, but decent considering their roster and the injury worries they’ve had to go through. They have lost their last four games. All four of the games were against teams in the top half of the NBA table and so is their next game.

Kyrie Irving missed their last game with a minor hamstring injury and is expected to be back on Thursday. The Nets will be looking to put up a good fight against what has been one of the best teams in NBA this season.
