It might be true that the NBA All-Star Kevin Durant does not have a wife. The previous serious girlfriend Durant had was the Bay Area property salesperson Cassandra Anderson. KD and Anderson were found together after the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals in 2018. In fact, a Google Camp in Sicily was attended by the 2 times NBA Champion and Anderson. Although, all indications lead to Durant no longer dating the real estate agent, and it seems like Durant is not in a serious relationship.
Another twist in the story of Kevin Durant’s love life
KD was also linked to Alexis Skyy who is known for being on the show Love & Hip Hop. It is being considered by the fans that Durant’s voice was heard in a video revealed during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Rumors have it that it was none other than Kevin Durant. Although, he has retained a low sketch after his relationship with Anderson ended. Now that he has moved to Brooklyn, it is interesting to find out whether there is a potential long-distance relationship going on for the 2014 NBA MVP.
Former WNBA star was engaged to Kevin Durant
KD was engaged to the former WNBA star Monica Wright. They split up in 2014.
“I had a fiancée, but…I really didn’t know how to, like, love her, you know what I’m saying? We just went our separate ways, We was just hanging out, chilling. And I felt the energy. I felt, I need to do this right now. And I just did it. I was like…We’re engaged right now? We’re about to get married? So I was just like, cool! I love this girl. But I didn’t love her the right way.” said the 2017 and 18 NBA FINALS MVP.
There is a relationship between Monica Wright and Valparaiso University’s basketball coach, Micheal Rogers. Wright gave a shout-out to Rogers on the 14th of February on her Instagram. As for why things did not work out with Durant, Wright said that she had her own reasons and had to face a lot of criticism over it. She also added that she did not want to compromise herself as a woman.
Unfortunately, KD is out for this season due to an injury and would not be able to play for the Brooklyn Nets. He has done quite well to keep his life off the court low profile.
