The ailments have cost Brogdon 15 games, and the former second-round pick admitted that his body has gone through a lot the last couple weeks as the Pacers crawled toward the All-Star break. On July 6, 2019, Brogdon signed with the Indiana Pacers via a sign and trade with the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for future picks. Brogdon signed a contract with the Pacers for $85.0 million over four years (average of $21.25 million per year). All of it is guaranteed.

Malcolm, affectionately known as “The President”, recorded his 10th double-double of the season scoring 17 points and dishing out a season-high-tying 13 assists in Indiana’s slump-snapping 118-111 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

“This is a team effort. This is historically one of the best defensive teams on the leagues. When I was on the Bucks, this was one of the few teams that would guard Giannis well. We have the pieces to continue to that. We did that the last game we played em’. They just have a lot of weapons now, great coaching. they’ve mastered their system and their philosophy that Bud (Mike Budenholzer, Coach, Milwaukee Bucks) teaches them. but we have a chance to really beat em’.
