The NBA season has finally ended and the Los Angeles Lakers take home the crown. After five consecutive years of the Warriors dominating the Western Conference, the Lakers broke that streak.
They beat the Heat over the course of six games to win their first title since 2010. And this victory has put other teams in the league on notice.
The league was moving towards heavy outside shooting due to the Warriors. But with the Lakers’ dominance through their bigs, Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard, rivals are now aiming to get capable big men to neutralize this threat.

Kevin O’Connor from The Ringer revealed that executives across the league are worried about the Warriors. “Just in the past week, multiple executives from different teams have texted me to say that the Warriors had better find a big in order to get by the Lakers.”
Can the Warriors cope with the new Lakers?
Over the course of these years of domination, the Warriors have managed without having an elite big man. This is because their ball movement and shooting have always been leaps and bounds ahead of their opposition.
But considering the way Davis dominated the opposing teams, the Warriors need to level up in their big man department.
