Nuggets’ Jamal Murray Joins NBA Legends Jerry West and Michael Jordan in Elite Playoff Club

The Denver Nuggets fought hard to stay alive. After going down 1-3, they have now successfully taken the series to Game 7. Despite not getting a lot of support from the rest of the team, Jamal Murray took matters into his own hands as he erupted for yet another 50-point game in the series.
He is currently averaging 47.3 points per game in the last three games and is single-handedly keeping them alive. During this run, he has amassed 142 points; only two NBA Hall of Famers, Jerry West and Michael Jordan, have a better record than Murray.

During his terrific performance tonight, he continued to break records. After starting the game with 25 points in the first half, he tied a record set by Allen Iverson back in 2001. And then after finishing with the game with 50 points, he became the first player since Michael Jordan to record three straight 40+ point games during a playoff series.

The Jazz have been unable to find an answer for him yet. He can score on anyone they throw at him, whether it’s Donovan Mitchell or Rudy Gobert, Murray has got the better of them all. Tonight, he also chipped in with five rebounds, and six assists in a complete offense performance. Fellow Canadian and NBA Hall of Famer Steve Nash was also impressed with Murray.

With the team banking on his hot form, he will be expected to lead them in Game 7 as well. They are now one game away from an amazing comeback. They were down 1-3 and were one game away from elimination, but now they are heading into Game 7 as the favorites to win the battle.
