After almost 5 months of hiatus, the NBA will return on July 30 in a bubble in Orlando on the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Walt Disney World. The LA Clippers, led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are one of the favourites to win the title. They currently sit second in the Western Conference. One of the veterans on the team is veteran sixth man and offensive plug Lou Williams, who answered media questions on a Zoom call.

Answering questions about the bubble to the media, Lou Wil said “The process, it’s been unique, you know, getting tested every day. You have to wear your masks everywhere besides the gym. It’s just been a unique experience. It’s like walking around if you’re on vacation with your family in a resort, and it’s just basketball players everywhere. That’s what it feels like. That’s what it looks like, and then you get to play basketball at the same time.”

The NBA Bubble in Orlando has been much anticipated after one of the longest breaks in active basketball since the 2011 lockout. The NBA invited the 22 best NBA teams to finish off the season with 8 regular-season games. This will be followed by a play-in tournament for the 8th and 9th seed. Champions will be crowned after the post-season ends in October.

The LA Clippers are one of the few teams that have been able to hold on to most of their core players for the bubble. The team will be returning at full strength, along with the addition of Joakim Noah. Noah is a former Defensive Player of the Year. The Clippers currently have the third-best odds to win the title. They are behind the Milwaukee Bucks and their cross-town rivals, the LA Lakers.
