The Miami Heat ascended to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2014. Further, they sent home top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks to make that happen. On the other hand, the Boston Celtics defeated the defending champions, Toronto Raptors, to get this stage. They played all seven games, eventually coming out as a winner, and are set to face their old rivals.
This current matchup is history repeating itself. The two teams met in 2012 at the same stage with the same stakes in place. However, it did not really end well for the Celtics and the Heat beat them by 4-3. The Celtics were initially leading till Game 5, but LeBron’s iconic 45 points performance in game 6 landed them into a tie and eventually proceeded to the NBA Finals. It is considered one of LeBron’s best performances, till date.
This is a defeat the Celtics can never forget. It was an opportunity the Heat took right out of their hands, which is what they’ll be looking to avenge this time.

Dwyane Wade is rooting for the Miami Heat
The Heat was known because of having the ‘Big Three’ in its team. The trio included LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. These were the top scorers for the franchise and eventually led the Heat to win back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013.
With the Celtics and Miami Heat about to recreate history, Dwyane showed some support on Instagram for his former team. He posted a video of ‘The Rock’ shouting “Go Heat B****” and throwing an individual wearing the Celtics jersey. The caption for the video is “Game Day! Let’s Goooo #heatnation“.
