With Giannis entering free agency by the end of next year, the Bucks were hoping to get a long-term extension with Giannis. However, the situation has become very confusing now. Although Giannis now only follows nine people, it could just mean that he is sorting out his social media platform. This is the best the Bucks can hope for. In order to not let Giannis walk in free agency, the Bucks will have to make sure they surround the reigning MVP with a better roster. They need to provide a right-hand man for him to rely on. Otherwise, the entire responsibility of the Bucks’ success falls on the star.
Which part of what Giannis has said is true?
As a big relief to the Bucks, Antetokounmpo had denied the possibility of trading post the loss against the Heat. “It’s not happening. That’s not happening,” Antetokounmpo said, via Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. “Some see a wall and go in [another direction]. I plow through it. We just have to get better as a team, individually, and get right back at it next season.”

While this may have been enough to calm the Bucks down, let’s not forget that before the season went on hiatus, Giannis said he would stay with the Bucks “as long as we’re winning”. At a time like this, you never know what his actions mean. Whether he plans on staying or leaving, only time will tell.
