HILARIOUS: Shannon Sharpe Gifts Skip Bayless LeBron James’ Sneakers for Birthday

LeBron James is one of the best players NBA has ever seen. In his 17 years in the NBA, he has always silenced his doubters. Yet, one of them seems unimpressed every time. Skip Bayless criticizes LeBron in almost every episode of the Undisputed.

Keeping up with this trend, in his recent appearance at the Undisputed, Skip Bayless celebrated his birthday. His co-host Shannon Sharpe had some interesting gifts for Bayless.

One gift was a pair of Air Jordan sneakers. Bayless has been pretty vocal about his opinion on why MJ is the goat, so naturally he was very happy with the Jordans.

Sharpe, before giving the second gift, said, “I think you will really appreciate this.” When Bayless opened them, it turned out to be LeBron 18s. Given how critical he has been of LeBron, him wearing these shoes in next to impossible.

Skip even said, “These shoes are too rich for my blood,” to which Shannon replied, “Because you will start to levitate like GOAT James.”  One can only imagine how LeBron will react to all of this.

Can LeBron James surpass MJ as the GOAT?

LeBron James recently signed a two-year extension with the Los Angeles Lakers. Now his contract ends in the 2022-23 NBA season, when he will be 39 years old.

We have already seen how destructive the duo of James and Anthony Davis can be. The Lakers have made sure that their other star is also locked in a lengthy contract which ends in 2023-24 NBA season.

This gives three more years of LeBron and AD and a championship window of three more years. If the duo continues to perform like it did in the 2019-20 season, there is no doubt that they can win multiple championships.

LeBron already has four NBA titles. If the Lakers win at least two more, it will take his tally to six championships, equaling his idol Michael Jordan’s record.

The King hasn’t slowed down much. If his current form continues, he is surely going to break the all time scoring record. Over the years, he has broken multiple records. Considering how he is performing as a 36-year-old, he is primed to break more.
