The Houston Rockets are ready to surprise people next season. That is, according to Western Conference rival, Draymond Green.
Green will be on one of the top contenders next season. His Golden State Warriors are primed for a comeback after their league-worst record this season.
With Steph Curry and Klay Thompson returning to full health, we may see the second installment of this dynasty.

However, Draymond is also often commentating on basketball with TNT. In a discussion with Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson, Draymond revealed that the Houston Rockets are the sleeper team in the Western Conference in his opinion.
“The team I think people are going to be sleeping on coming out of the West is Houston. They got Russ, they got James and obviously, both can go for 40 or 50 on any given night.
“They got a bunch of shooters and they are going to create problems for people because they are playing a switching defense and the first thing that people do is they try to pound the ball inside.
“You’re not just going to run over James Harden in the post, you’re not going to run over P.J. Tucker. I think a lot of teams will make that mistake and Houston will be sneaky,” said Draymond.

The Houston Rockets saw their playoff run in the bubble end with a whimper. After pushing the Golden State Warriors for four consecutive seasons, Houston fell quite easily to the LA Lakers in the second round. Their superstar duo of James Harden and Russell Westbrook really didn’t work out,
Since that playoff loss, Houston has lost both their coach Mike D’Antoni and General Manager Daryl Morey. The future is uncertain for this Western Conference powerhouse.
