In continuation of the rivalry that began in January this year, Jimmy Butler and T.J. Warren have locked horns yet again. Pacers and Heat are up against each other in the NBA playoff run for this season.

Since the Warren-Butler beef that started a few months back, the two haven’t halted to date. It seems like that isn’t happening any time soon with the two players meeting in the playoff series. They have been on a constant quarrel over the internet for a long time.

The season restart unleashed a whole new side of T.J. Warren. But the only force he couldn’t get past was Jimmy Butler. In the seeding game between Heat and Pacers, Warren recorded a mere 12 points and 5 rebounds while shooting just 5/14 from the field.

Now that the two are again back in the battle, it will be interesting to see how they irritate each other on the court. Game 1 ended in Heat’s favor with a 113-101 win led by Butler. He scored 28 points and Goran Dragic accompanied him with 24 to seal the victory.

T.J. Warren says media is having fun in his beef with Butler

With the series gaining momentum, Warren seems quite calm with the entire Jimmy Butler scenario. When asked about Butler attempting to get under his skin, T.J had his responses ready.

“I’m not gonna bother. Everything that’s going on, I know the media is having fun with it. But me, really can’t get no energy out of me after the first time. I’m just excited, any matchup against players like that, it’s going to be fun,” he told ESPN’s, Malika Andrews.
