2019-20 NBA season was one of the most terrific seasons for LeBron James until the shutdown due to the pandemic. As a 35-year old on the court, there were instances when one could forget the age factor looking at his game. What adds to his brilliance is the recognition he receives from the other players. A few days prior, Jayson Tatum, Celtics power forward, suggested that LeBron was definitely the best NBA player of this league.

James recorded 25.7 points per game and 7.9 assists per game this season. He led the assists per game with a 10.6. The Lakers star led the team to become the favorites of the season until it got disrupted by the pandemic news. Many drew comparisons between Giannis and LeBron as to who was better in the league so far. At such an age, James aced one of his best seasons of all time.

“LeBron…That’s the only answer…He the best player on the league until he not best player. KD number 2.” This was Tatum’s answer to the best NBA player in the league. According to him, Kevin Durant comes second to LeBron in the list of favorites. KD scored 26 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game and 5.9 assists per game in the season.
