The wait to see where Montrezl Harrell lands finally ended. After a quiet free agency, Harrell did the unthinkable and signed a 2 year, $19 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Nobody could have ever imagined that a Clippers player will join the purple and gold. However, this has actually happened and there have been a lot of mixed reviews on the subject.

Within his first 2 seasons with the Clippers, he established himself as a key player. Although when Kawhi Leonard and Paul George came last season, they changed the dynamic of the roster; however, he was still an asset to the team.

Yet it was very clear during the postseason that the players were having chemistry issues on and off the court. There were reports of Harrell getting into a heated argument with Paul George in the locker room after Game 2 against the Denver Nuggets.

There was a lot of blame game, but it was of no use. The Nuggets overcame a 3-1 deficit and chucked the Clippers out of the title run.

But it looks like NBA Analyst, Skip Bayless has once again come to the rescue of his favorites, the Clippers.

The Clippers didn’t want Montrezl Harrell?

On Undisputed, Skip clarified that the Lakers didn’t steal Harrell away from the Clippers, in fact, they Clippers just didn’t want him.

“So, when I read this story yesterday, I must admit I laughed and laughed and laughed some more. Because I had to put up with your gloating for 2 and a half hours,” Skip told Sharpe. ‘We got Trez! We stole him from the Clippers!’
