Although Kuzma got his first ring last season he had a down year by his standards. He also had a disappointing performance in the playoffs, thus the heavy criticism against him. He averaged 12.8 points, 1.3 assists and 4.5 rebounds each game last season.

This has been his Achilles’ heel. This trend continued in the playoffs. He averaged only 10 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 23 minutes played per match.
He now has become a rotational piece in the system. If Kuzma really wants to prove his critics wrong, he should try to make the most of the available minutes.
