Amongst the struggle of surviving in the bubble, some heated banters have also kept the players going. T.J. Warren has been an unexpected star of Orlando, shining way more than the likes of LeBron James and Anthony Davis as well. But one player has been a threat to Warren’s stunning campaign is Heat star, Jimmy Butler.

T.J. Warren and Jimmy Butler’s beef dates back to January this year. Since then, the two have locked horns against each other. They have trolled and been in some feuds here and there.

Warren is averaging almost 35 points per game in Orlando and 61% shooting from the field, 56% from three-point range. He bagged more than 30 points in four games out of the six he has played. This is inclusive of that bizarre performance against the Philadelphia 76ers in which Warren scored a career-high 53 points.

Lately, Butler and Warren had a face-off on the court in Heat vs Pacers and it was a hyped-up contest due to their past feud. Well, as it turned out, Jimmy’s Heat restricted Warren to a mere 12 points in that game and a 5/12 field shooting ratio.

Jimmy Butler was the only player to restrict Warren since season restart

Despite all the history, Jimmy Butler admits that Warren has been on a mission in the bubble. But at the same time, he is confident that Heat did a brilliant job as a team to restrict him in that game.

“We just made everything tough for him. He’s been on a tear lately, I will say that. But, you know when you go up against a Heat, we always got something in our back pocket.” Jimmy told in a post-match conversation.

Warren has taken the Pacers to a 4-2 winning record. This is true even though some main men have been on the lines of regaining momentum from the lineup. The last match saw Victor Oladipo and Malcolm Brogdon add 14 and 12 points respectively to Indiana’s loss.

So considering how it is going on for the Pacers, Warren has clearly been their sole warrior. He has shocked the NBA fans to a large extent with some tremendous change over from was he was recording in the last two seasons.

The two teams; Heat and Pacers have been toggling between fourth and fifth seed in the East. It was only in their recent matchup that Heat took a leap ahead of Pacers in the Eastern Conference standings.

Will either of them make it to the conference finals?
