For Giannis Antetokounmpo, the priority this season, over everything else, is to lead Milwaukee Bucks to their first championship since 1971. Kareem Abdul Jabbar did it back then, and Giannis intends to emulate him and help his team attain glory.
There has been a lot of talk about Giannis being one of the favorites to win the NBA MVP award for the second successive season. The debates on who the MVP regained traction attention after LeBron James recently explained how he has done enough to get consideration in the MVP race.
James said the position of his team is one of the things that conveys the kind of season he has had. Giannis, on the other hand, chose to talk less about the MVP race. His main focus, Antetokounmpo said, is to play good basketball and lead his team to the NBA title.
