The Los Angeles Lakers grabbed their first win of the scrimmage against Orlando Magic on 25th July. With a 119-112 scoreline, Kyle Kuzma came out on top as the lead scorer.

He bagged 25 points and 7 rebounds, followed by LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and so on. Despite the win, the topic of discussion after the match was Anthony Davis. He had to walk out after getting poked in the eye and did not return.

Kyle Kuzma seemed to be on a roll, especially in the second half. Other than clinching 25 points on 10-13 shooting, he also played a major role in the defense, which ultimately carried them to a win.

Apart from that, Kyle was also seen speaking about Chris Paul. Mark Spears jumps in and says that Chris Paul has played a major role in putting things together, even though he has had a lot on his plate.

To this, Kyle says, “CP has a lot to work, you know obviously trying to get thunder to their playoffs aspirations. But he is the President of the PA, so he has a lot of things on his hand and I think as a union we kind of commend him for the work he does…

Furthermore, he also praises Chris Paul for being very approachable. “He’s easy to talk to. I remember you know just calling him trying to find his number and you know just getting in the hole with him trying to pass out my ideas.

“It’s super easy to talk to him and he’s a great rep for us and the players.”
