Former Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors guard Matt Barnes believed the world will witness a much fiercer LeBron James when the NBA restarts after the break.
Talking on The Sedano show with Jorge Sedano, Barnes joked that the world was in “trouble” as James will be coming back after getting good rest.
“I just want to say the world is in trouble because LeBron’s legs have been resting for four months. We’ve never seen a well-rested LeBron. LeBron has always carried his team as far as they’ve gone,” he said. “He’s always had to do all the heavy lifting.

As the players return to action inside the bubble in Orlando, they will be playing basketball after at least four months. This is significantly more than what the players would get between the regular season and postseason. Players this time will be fresher going into the playoffs.
Barnes said it was very rare to see star players get so much rest. He believed it could bring the best out of them.
“For him to have this long-off, for Kawhi Leonard who has been nagging injuries, all these big-time players that are carrying their team were never going to have been this fresh in a playoff or championship situation.
