Dwyane Wade believes the big three that he was a part of at Miami Heat, alongside LeBron James and Chris Bosh, was one of the best of all-time.
On Friday, during a three-way talk between Wade, Udonis Haslem and Channing Frye on Bleacher Report’s “Run It Back,” Wade said their big-three was near the top although not the best.
“Are we the best of all time? Probably not, but we’re definitely one of the top in the sense of the body of work that we put in in those four years,” he said. “But are we the best? That’s not for me to say, but we’re definitely one of the best.”

Wade, a part of Miami Heat since 2003, was joined by James and Bosh in 2010. To form a big-three, they had even taken a pay-cut. And the subsequent seasons would prove it was worth it.
With the three by their side, the Heat would go on an incredible run the next few seasons. Their four years together was one of the most fruitful periods for the franchise.
They won two consecutive titles in 2012 and 2013. During the 2012-13 season, they went close to beating the record for the most number of wins on the trot- winning 27 games.

1990s Chicago Bulls or LeBron James, Dwyane Wade & Chris Bosh’s Miami Heat?
While the Heat’s achievements with the big-three were indeed incredible, it would be difficult to rank them among the all-time best. For example, the Bulls had Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman as they won a three-peat. Similarly, the Los Angeles Lakers of the 1980s had an array of stars.
Talking on the Run it Back, Udonis Haslem, a part of the Heat’s team, felt said their big-three would have ranked second.

“I will say they would be second because you would never know,” Haslem said.
He picked the trio of Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman as the best big-three ever. It isn’t surprising considering their achievements. It was a time when the Bulls were dominating the NBA. And they had dominated for a longer period as compared to the Heat’s short run.
