Sunday night was a terrific one for the Los Angeles Lakers since they clinched the 17th NBA championship for the franchise. The domination of this team was undeniable throughout the season. While the team was the season’s favorite, some of their players faced immense criticism.
The journey to the top has been incredible for the Lakers. The Game 6 victory over Miami Heat came with a closeout score of 106-93. The series ended with 4-2 in the Lakers’ favor and Anthony Davis grabbed the first title of his career with teary eyes. This was LeBron James’ fourth.
Not every player on the team dazzled throughout the series. Lakers’ starter, Danny Green had a tough time in the Finals. He was majorly criticized for underperforming with the Lakers and being incapable of making 3-pointers.

Game 5 was another blowback for Green as he missed a 3-pointer in clutch time that led to the Lakers’ defeat. This caused the series to cut down to 3-2.
Netizens, analysts, and fans heavily trolled Green post that match. However, he was in solid form on the Game 6 night and recorded 11 points and 5 rebounds to add to the win.
