The Miami Heat are currently holding a 2-0 lead against the Boston Celtics. The Celtics blew a 17 point lead in the previous game and the Heat are continuing their winning streak. They have the best record in the 2020 NBA Playoffs, winning 10 of their 11 games, and they don’t intend on changing that anytime soon.

While some want the Celtics to revive from this deficit and showcase the potential they had while playing the defending champions, most people think the Miami Heat are more deserving to enter the NBA Finals. One of the most respected NBA Analysts also feels the same way.

The Heat’s momentum has been unbreakable so far. With this victory, the Miami Heat are now 10-1 in the NBA Playoffs. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo’s leadership has really paid off. The Heat have overcome barriers with utmost resilience. Without a doubt, they are going to make it very hard for the Celtics to revive from this deficit.

In an interview, Smith was asked, “Do you think the series is over at this point?”. He blatantly responded, “I do believe it’s over because I picked the Miami Heat to win in 7 and I don’t see Boston winning for the next 5 games. I just don’t view it that way. So, as a result, I do believe this series is over.”

“I don’t know how many game it will end in.” stated Smith. “Maybe it will end in 6, maybe it will end in 5 for all we know or go 7. But I don’t see Miami Heat losing for the next 5 games. I just don’t see that.”

Smith’s opinion holds a lot of importance and credibility in this industry, and him leaning towards the Heat means it’s very much possible that the Celtics will be the one’s leaving the Bubble.

What does Game 3 against the Celtics look like?

It looked like the Celtics had it all under control, but they again let an obvious victory slip away. This will cost them heavily and the more chances they give to the Heat, the more they’ll see their dream of entering the NBA Finals fade.

The one upside for Celtics is that Gordon Hayward looks probable for the game. If he returns, this could be the boost the Celtics are looking for. Miami Heat has been excellent on both ends of the court and it is on the Celtics to figure out on how to break that.
