Devin Booker wasn’t exactly in favor of using Phoenix Suns for the ongoing players only NBA 2K tournament. In the first round of the tournament, he faced Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. The video game contest was between the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers with Booker choosing to play with Giannis Antetokounmpo and co.

Just when the game was about to begin, Porter said, “You should have just picked the Suns, I would have picked the Nuggets.” But Booker was quick to laugh off the prospect of entering a video game contest with the Suns.

Booker also reasoned his non-selection later in a tweet saying his virtual counterpart in the game was “messed up”.

Booker eventually managed a victory in the first round of the tournament 85-75. Meanwhile, No. 13 seed Rui Hachimura of the Washington Wizards emerged victorious over the No. 4 seed Donovan Mitchell. This will see the two compete in the quarterfinals.

Montrezl Harrell & Andre Drummond also emerged victorious apart from Devin Booker
