Clevland Cavaliers Power Forward, Kevin Love has been in trade talks ever since the beginning of the season. The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the midst of a rebuild while also in search of direction. This has lead to an increase in trade rumours surrounding Love as he seems to be the obvious trade piece. It has also lead to a lot of drama in the team as both the team and the player is unhappy.
Kevin Love Frustrated
In January, Shams Charania and Joe Vardon reported of the emotional verbal outburst from Love directed towards the general manager Koby Altman. Multiple sources are reporting of his frustration with his role. His frustration was clear when he visibly threw his arms up in apparent disgust in the middle of a game against OKC.

Kevin Love’s Trade situation
Kevin Love is having yet another solid performance this season. He is averaging 17.4 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game and shooting 37.9% from three-point range.
There is no question of Love’s trade value as his addition can make any playoff team a title contender. The five-time All-Star played a significant role when Clevland won the 2016 championship. He also brings intangibles such as experience and leadership along with his skillset.
Cleveland is in rebuilding mode and likely not ready to contend again while Love is in his prime. It would make sense from the Cavaliers’ perspective to move him for young assets or draft picks. They do not like what is available heading into Thursday’s deadline
“Cleveland is resigned right now that there is no trade for them between now and Thursday. Unless something comes out of nowhere, essentially, they will be looking in the offseason,” ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski said on The Woj Pod.
Wojnarowski explained the team is not interested in simply giving the 31-year-old away and doesn’t think there is enough value on the market to move him during the season.
