Similar to their rivals, the Red Raiders don’t have any major injuries to deal with for tonight’s game. Junior guard Max McClung has been the hero for the Red Raiders so far. He transferred to Texas Tech to get a bigger stage to show off his talent, and he is doing just that averaging 15.3 points per game.

Both teams have good depth with four players each averaging in double-digit points, but the Longhorns have more experience and are a much more balanced team. While both teams are in the top five best defenses, the Longhorns offense is ranked 12th compared to the Red Raiders who are 37th.
So the Longhorns will be the favorites and will be expected to edge out their rivals. Their main task will be to contain McClung, but if he is able to score efficiently, they will be will in trouble.
