Preview-
Having lost in the Conference semi-finals last season, Denver Nuggets have started the 2019/20 season on a high. After 18 games, they find themselves in the third place in a tight looking Western Conference. After winning six consecutive games, the Nuggets have lost their last two games, including an upsetting defeat against Sacramento Kings. In their previous game, the Nuggets failed to topple the statistically best team in the league. On Thursday, they will travel to New York to face the Knicks- statistically among the worst teams in the league.
The Knicks are having another disappointing season with just four wins in 21 games. The New York City based team are currently placed at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. They haven’t tasted victory for seven consecutive games now, and it won’t get easier when they will be facing one of the top performers in the league so far.

Predictions-
The Nuggets and Knicks are two of the NBA’s lowest-scoring teams, but Denver’s defence is rated among the best in the league. Their star Centre Nikola Jokic is averaging a double double for the season after a start that did not meet the expectations. Jamal Murray and Paul Millsap have also been in a decent scoring form.
