It’s been a rough couple of months for Tom Brady after joining Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The exit from New England Patriots, the coronavirus pandemic, and other external factors have resulted in an arduous offseason for Mr. Brady. Having finally begun training in July, Brady showed some positive signs after the transition from coach Bill Belichick’s way to Bruce Arians’ famous offense.
The six-time Super Bowl winner reportedly developed a strong bond with wideouts Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. In addition to that, Brady also has a great relationship with teammate Rob Gronkowski who was with him in New England last decade. However, a well-oiled machine such as the Buccaneers can also have an ‘off day’ in the preseason phase.

“There were false starts on the offensive line, there were miscommunications between the receivers and Tom Brady. To sum it up, there was a miscommunication between him and Rob Gronkowski. There’s been a lot of balls thrown from Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski over the years. Does it mean that they’re all trying to work things out? But maybe Gronk wasn’t exactly where Brady wanted him and they had a discussion afterward…Tom Brady did say to me, his concern is communication,” Palmer said.

Brady will hope that this is a one-off instance as he gears up for his Tampa Bay debut next month. Bruce Arians’ famed offense take on Drew Brees-led New Orleans Saints on September 14, 2020. The Bucs have around two weeks to get sort out their communications issues. On paper, Tampa Bay look like the team to beat in NFC South. However, a lot of that responsibility is on the shoulder of TB12. He will require a great deal of help from his supporting cast if he wants to make the playoffs this season.
