Former New England Patriots guard Damien Woody gave the NFL fans a moment to remember while talking about Colin Kaepernick and his chances of playing in the league. The 2-time Super Bowl champion believes that Kaepernick deserves an opportunity to showcase his abilities. Woody describes how the interest from the Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis was essential to Kaepernick getting his tryout.

During this particular First Take segment with Stephen A. Smith, while discussing Kaepernick, Woody states, “I’ve always said when it comes to Colin Kaepernick there’s not you know 64 QBs you know walking this planet that’s better than Colin Kaepernick.” He believes that the time is finally here for the former Niners QB to show good he truly is after a 6-year hiatus.

Woody believes that there is a realistic chance of opening for the former Super Bowl finalist with familiar faces at the franchise. Kaepernick has previously played under Raiders offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi from 2013 to 2016 while playing in San Francisco. The analyst believes that the long due opportunity that Kaepernick was earlier devoid of has finally arrived.

Whether or not they will have Kaepernick on their roster in 2022, the fans will turn up in numbers.
