It could be safer to say that TB12 cannot compare with anyone, as there is none like him. However, a Buccaneers legend has made the observation, and it looks fascinating.

Tom Brady is without a doubt, one of the best players in League history. His competition is intense, and so are his success approaches. As the GOAT continues to write his heritage, he is looking for more to add to his list of qualifications. The QB is now regarded as one of the most successful among his peers.

Warren Sapp recently made an appearance with Vlad TV, where he touches on multiple topics. Among them was the moment when Tom Brady jumps the ship to Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sapp explains that joyous feeling and calls himself like a child in a candy store. But the former defensive tackle had something more to add by making a comparison of Brady with a kid’s storybook character.

Warren Sapp mentions, “I had him in my house underneath my neck. I was gonna get to take my mama down there to the sideline. I had the goose that laid the golden egg on my house. I was gonna walk my mother up to him and say hello. You know what this is… That’s Tom Brady… Come on, man, what’s better than that?”

Sapp’s emotions are obvious. He has every right to be enthusiastic because, prior to TB12’s arrival in Tampa Bay, the franchise never had a QB with multiple selections to more than one All-Pro team.

Will 2022 be the last year for Tom Brady?

Tom Brady has established a legacy one might never achieve. Lifting multiple Lombardi trophies in his shiny 22-year career is not at all easy. He won six Super Bowls alongside the Patriots and one in his debut season with the Buccaneers. But he goes against the competition and does the unthinkable.

The year 2023 is special, as his contract only has one season left. He doesn’t have any negotiation talks with the Buccaneers and already has a post-retirement career in place. Probably, this could be Tom Brady’s last chance to achieve the ring. Despite not having Rob Gronkowski because of his retirement, things might look different. However, it may not stall the hopes for his Eighth Super Bowl win.
