Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers for a 13 win season, clinching the Divisional Round berth with a No.1 seed in the NFC for the second consecutive time. His undeniable leadership and sportsman spirit were materialized in the form of yet another AP NFL MVP award Thursday night.

This was one of his best seasons in the NFL, though it did not come to fruition with a Super Bowl win. The 38-year-old tossed 37 touchdowns for just four touchdowns. His ability to handle the ball has been remarkable, and the quarterback has an exceptionally well touchdown to interception ratio (6:1).

Rodgers also won the MVP honors in 2020, and with that, he has made himself one of the most dominating figures in history across all American sports.

Aaron Rodgers claimed his second consecutive MVP honor at 38. That puts him behind only the MLB legend, Barry Bonds, for a special record. According to ESPN Stats & Info, “Only Barry Bonds has been an older consecutive MVP winner than Aaron Rodgers across NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL/WNBA/MLS history, based on age at the end of the regular season.”
