LeBron James is one of the most celebrated NBA players of all time. Even his contemporaries from other sports feel the same. Consequently, Aaron Rodgers stands by his friend, James. In an interview with CNN, the Lakers forward discusses opening a school in his hometown Akron, Ohio. Moreover, he commented on social issues in the US and Trump’s statements on sports in the past.

In response to Trump’s tweet withdrawing his White House invitation to Steph Curry and the Warriors, LeBron called him out. He said, U bum Steph Curry already said he ain’t going! So, therefore, ain’t no invite. Going to the White House was a great honor until you showed up!”

Consequently, this response fired up the former POTUS. He said, “LeBron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made LeBron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”

How did Aaron Rodgers lend his support to LeBron James?

James’ contemporaries did not hold back from expressing their solidarity with him. In addition, the 4x NBA champion remained silent. Finally, the NFL legend Aaron Rodgers came out saying his support. He thought that LeBron’s silence was “absolutely beautiful,” and there was no need to give it any attention.

Further, in an interview with the NFL, the Packers‘ QB outlined his thoughts surrounding the issue. He said, “I think that the more that we give credence to stuff like that, the more it’s gonna live on. I think if we can learn to ignore or not respond to stuff like that if we can; it takes away the power of statements like that.”

Conversely, the former President saw very little support regarding his comments on LeBron.
