Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos hit rock bottom for the 2022 NFL season with their blowout 51-14 loss against the Los Angeles Rams. Wilson reached a new low point in his quarterbacking career as the tempers are flaring. And former Broncos legend and sports analyst Shannon Sharpe cooked DangeRuss with a direct shot on Twitter.

Baker Mayfield‘s LA Rams cruised past the Broncos at the SoFi Stadium on Sunday. And it got so bad that Denver decided to throw in backup QB Brett Rypien after benching their $245 million off-season signing, QB Russell Wilson. And it was coming for Russ, after a horrendous on-field show featuring 3 interceptions. Shannon didn’t lay it easy.

Russell Wilson is good and terrible today. Broncos let him cook, and he burned Christmas dinner. I’m so sorry Bronco Country,” the 3x Super Bowl champion and former Broncos tight end tweeted. And the NFL world seemed to be on the same page.

During the third quarter of the game, a sideline scuffle ensued after QB Russell Wilson got sacked. The altercation, which included some pushing and shoving, mainly centered around Wilson not getting protection from his offensive linemen. Broncos backup QB Brett Rypien defended Russ and had some choice words for the O-line and the biggest men on the Denver roster definitely didn’t appreciate the finger-pointing. For his sole touchdown in the game, the former Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl-winning QB found tight end Greg Dulcich. However, Wilson’s other stats from the game are pretty dull. DangeRuss over-cooked a long ball and young Rams CB Cobie Durant made the first of his 2 interceptions in the game. Wilson threw to former teammate Bobby Wagner for a second pick. His third and final interception came around when Rams star cornerback Jalen Ramsey picked off the ball in an end-zone touchdown attempt.
