Due to the ongoing coronavirus situation in the USA, there is still no update regarding a start date for the NFL 2020 season. There were rumors floating around that the NFL preseason could be scrapped. However, there is no official confirmation for the same. Amidst all this uncertainty, former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown has been gearing up for a return to the NFL. The controversial star recently took to Instagram where he uploaded a short clip of him practicing. The Former Oakland Raiders’ player Antonio Brown was practicing along with Seahawks’ Russell Wilson. In the video, the 31-year old caught a long-range pass from Russell Wilson.

Antonio Brown has been without an NFL team since 2019 due to his off-field antics. The Central Michigan college graduate was under the scanner for sexual abuse allegations from former trainer Britney Taylor. In addition to that, Brown was charged with multiple criminal misdemeanors in March. However, the highly-rated WR is working his way towards a return to the NFL ahead of the 2020 season. Brown is currently a free agent but is being touted as a target for the likes of Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, and New York Giants. Rumors also indicate that Antonio Brown is in ‘close contact’ with former teammate – Tom Brady – who is now with Tampa Bay.

Antonio Brown is regarded as one of the finest wide-receivers to ever play in the NFL. Since arriving in the NFL in 2010, he has set numerous league records and established himself as one of the top players in the league. Off-field struggles aside, Brown will definitely improve any NFL roster if they choose to take a gamble with him. The Florida-born veteran was the first NFL player to have more than 1,000 yards receiving and returning in the same season. Seattle Seahawks are keen on acquiring his services.
