NFL franchise Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger recently revealed that Monday’s outing against the Cleveland Browns could be his last. Big ‘Ben’ has been with the Steelers organization for nearly 17 seasons. He ended up winning the 2 Super Bowls titles in 2005 and 2008.

Ben has been a constant presence for the Pennsylvania-based franchise. His experience and leadership play a crucial role in their overall success. The Steelers face the Browns at Heinz Field for their final regular-season home game with a chance at making it into the postseason.

Roethlisberger, addressing the media, states, “I don’t ever speak in definites or guarantees, that’s not what I’ve ever done or who I am. But, looking at the bigger picture, I would say that all signs are pointing to this could be it.”

He also added saying, “Regular season that is, I know we still have a chance to potentially get a playoff game there if things fall our way and we take care of business and things have to happen. But, in the grand scheme of things, in terms of regular seasons, signs are pointing that way this could be it.”

The Ben Roethlisberger Swan Song At Pittsburgh?

With things in Pittsburgh looking sticky in terms of Super Bowl ambitions, Big Ben’s curtain call approaches quicker than ever. Both the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens lead in the AFC North, Steelers require the Big Ben of better times.

There is also an important record at stake for QB Roethlisberger to maintain against the Browns. Pittsburgh has been having a .500 record or better in all of his 17 seasons.
