The former WWE Champion and the UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar, has gathered numerous titles and accolades to his name. Without any doubt, he is one of the most celebrated athletes in the world. His sports journey has been commendable, and it seems like The Beast can do anything! However, there was one sport he could not excel in as he wished he did.

The former World Heavyweight Champion thought he got what it took to become a great NFL player. After the last match of his first run in WWE in 2004, Lesnar joined the Minnesota Vikings for preseason preparations.

The short-lived career of Brock Lesnar as a football player

Brock Lesnar is the ultimate sportsman. The man aced every sport he got into. Along with possessing the physical tool and strength, Lesnar has great conditioning. “I’m as good an athlete as a lot of guys in the NFL, if not better. I’ve always had to fight for everything.” Lesnar said. However, this was not enough for Lesnar to excel at football.

Additionally, he met with a motorcycle accident that left him with a broken jaw, bruised pelvis, and a pulled groin. Which sidelined him from bringing the best to the game, to some extent. In spite of this, the wrestler featured in a number of preseason games where he played defensive tackle at #69.

One of the most sorted after athletes in the world who made a name for himself in UFC, and WWE and left an impressive landmark in such a difficult sport as football. Regarded as one of the best hybrid athletes of all time and a successful box office athlete too.
