Tom Brady crushed the hearts of thousands of Patriots fans after he announced his decision to leave New England in 2020. The six-time Super Bowl winner signed a two-year contract with Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As per the contract details, Brady will earn almost $60 million over the course of the next two seasons in Florida. But money is something that will be the last thing on his mind at the moment.

The 43-year old will surely be aiming to add his Lombard Trophy tally with the Bucs. Bruce Arians’ young side have been impressive in the league over the last two seasons. With some promising talents like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, OJ Howard, Cameron Brate, and of course, Rob Gronkowski, the Tampa Bay outfit are one of the most feared offensive teams in the league. Here’s why a certain sports analyst feels that Tom Brady could lead the Buccaneers to a Lombardi Trophy in 2020.

He said, “I’ve called them a Super Bowl contender since they acquired Tom Brady…On the offensive side of the ball, you’ve got Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, two stalwarts in the wide receivers spot. At the tight end spot, which is incredible for Tom Brady because he loves having that security blanket remember at one point he had Gronk and Aaron Hernandez…but now you’ve got Gronk in Tampa. You got him with OJ Howard, you got him with Cameron Brate.”

“Then at the running back spot, after buffering the offensive line through drafts, not only did you have this kid Ronald Jones to begin with but then you acquired Shady McCoy and now you’ve got Leonard Fournette who’s got 1,000+ yards in two of his three seasons in the NFL…When I look at what Tampa Bay has available to them, it’s not just about the multitude of weapons, it’s whos leading them,” Smith said on the show.

Indeed, the offensive weapons at Brady’s disposal are second to none. Only Mike McCarthy’s Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs come close to the Bucs offensive depth in the league.
