Former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will turn 29 in November. His first two seasons with the Cleveland Browns have been plagued with injuries. The highly rated wideout only played 7 games for Kevin Stefanski’s side in 2020.

He had 319 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns on 23 receptions this season. However, his season was cut short in Week 7 while playing against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Odell Beckham Jr. left the game with a knee injury. It was later revealed that OBJ would miss the rest of the season with an ACL tear.

He was subsequently placed on the Injury Reserve list on October 27th, 2020. With time running out for him, should the Browns let their star wide receiver leave this summer in search of greener pastures?

Popular American analyst Chris Broussard featured on ESPN’s First Things First on Wednesday. He put forth an interesting trade scenario involving Odell Beckham Jr. and AFC North franchise, Baltimore Ravens.

He said, “You know, Lamar Jackson needs a big-play receiver. And OBJ, you know, can make up for some bad throws by the quarterback, because we know he can go get the ball. And he also can turn a short route into a game-breaking play.

“So I would love to see OBJ It’s time for them to get Lamar the weapons we always talk about…I’d like to see Lamar, get a receiver like that before I say, ‘Oh, you know what, he can only hit the tight in, he can only throw it in the middle of the field’. So I think that would be a good one,” Broussard said on the show.

The Ravens suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round earlier this year. They will be looking to strengthen in the offseason. Maybe a potential OBJ trade deal is not completely off the cards.
