It seems that the NFL icon longs for a life outside the gridiron as he talks about not having “a lotta football left” in him, according to Tampa Bay Times sports reporter Joey Knight. If it were true, it could break many hearts since the quarterback has an enormous fan following. 

Brady during his weekly conference said, “I’m kinda at the end of my football journey, there’s not a football I have left. Don’t know how long it goes but it’s certainly closer to the end. But these guys are at the beginning or just the middle part. So they got a lot to achieve in their career and I want to see everyone maximize their potential.”

Is Tom Brady going to retire?

The 44-year-old quarterback has certainly reached a stage in his career where he has started to question his abilities to achieve any higher since he believes he has done his part. And now he wants the younger generation of athletes to succeed.

During a Thanksgiving interview with Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brady also had dropped hints for possible retirement. Where he said, “I’m looking forward to the time when I’m done playing football so that I can have some of those more normal holidays that I had growing up that was important where the family’s all together.”
