The athlete-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick had a tumultuous journey during his time in the National Football League. Many people supported Kaep, while a few of them resisted the movement. When the QB knelt for the first time during the national anthem, it was an unexpected moment for his teammates. One such athlete was Vernon Davis, who played tight end for the Niners and got traded to the Denver Broncos one year before the incident.

While speaking to the reporters, Davis mentioned that he supports Colin Kaepernick in all aspects. At first, he was stunned, but later on, the TE understood the crux of the matter. The former Super Bowl Champion affirmed that Kaepernick’s movement has a much greater purpose, and he was successful in infusing a true expression of freedom and liberty. “Colin Kaepernick is bigger than life right now,” Davis said.

“He’s huge, man. There’s a lot of people who are with him and against them, [but] you’re going to get that when there’s something you believe in. I love him dearly. I’ve always had a love for him, and as long as he’s doing well, that’s all that matters.” he added.

To propagate his ideologies, Kaepernick resorted to various mediums, including digital and print media. At first, he released a Netflix documentary, throwing some light on his story. He released a children’s book earlier this year, ‘I Color Myself Different’.
