If you’re a Houston Texans fan, you’ll probably want to look away from this one. It’s all beginning to go ‘South’ (pun intended) for the Texans as they gear up for a tough offseason. Earlier today, news broke out that veteran defensive end JJ Watt was waived by Houston. Could this be the final nail in the Deshaun Watson coffin?

The former Clemson Tigers quarterback penned a 4-year contract extension with the Texans last season itself. “Today we want to focus on J.J. Deshaun is our quarterback, he is a Texan, and we expect him to remain a Texan, and we’ll leave that,” McNair said via Adam Schefter.
