Another NFL legend has his progeny trying to blaze his way through the world of football. The Baltimore Ravens legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Ray Lewis is now once again in the headlines. As his son Rahsaan Lewis opened his collegiate touchdown count, The NFL world on twitter is in disbelief.

The middle linebacker has achieved legendary status for his feats on the football ground. And now his son Rahsaan Lewis is starting to forge his name in the collegiate football circuit. While the Kentucky Wildcats played the Mississippi State Bulldogs yesterday. Rahsaan Lewis was playing as a wide receiver for the Wildcats. And in the 3rd quarter, the player was able to catch a ball from quarterback Will Levis, for a 3 yard touchdown. The following play was the first touchdown for Rahsaan in his college football career.

Although a touchdown is not what usually surprises people. What got everyone’s attention was the fact that the player was the son of none other than Ray Lewis. Many became aware of this fact only after the touchdown.

Rahsaan Lewis
Being associated with such a big name in the history of the NFL can put pressure on anyone. However, if the son can manage to even imitate a half of his father’s achievement, he will be remembered as well.

Ray Lewis, also known as the ‘Brick Wall’ spent 17 years with the Baltimore Ravens. In those 17 years, the linebacker earned 12 Pro Bowl Selections. 7 First-Team all-pro nods and even won two Super Bowls which came in the year 2000 and 2012. After the 2012 season, the player announced his retirement and has already been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
