The Premier League match between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday witnessed the NFL icon on the VIP seats at the Old Trafford, where he came to witness playing Cristiano Ronaldo and his good friend Harry Kane.

To everyone’s surprise, Brady stood to support Manchester United during the game. However, Brady was an incredibly lucky person that he chose to watch this game.

Harry Kane is a pure Brady fanboy

Harry Kane and Tom Brady go long back as good friends, and supporting another team won’t be a problem among them. The self-declared Tom Brady fan once confessed about their friendship, noting that Brady made him root for the Patriots in the NFL.

He stated, “When I was about 18, 19, I stumbled across a Tom Brady documentary on YouTube. I fell in love with him and his mentality, and the game as well. I chose the Patriots from that moment and just loved it ever since.”

Kane also expresses that he first contacted Tom on Instagram around four or five years ago because of the way he worked, and Harry was already a big fan of his.

Further, Brady enjoys soccer, and his son does as well. For Kane, Brady is one of his athletic inspirations, and he met him face to face at the after-party after the Patriots won the Super Bowl against the Los Angeles Rams in February 2019.

The England striker also posted a tribute over Twitter when the NFL quarterback announced his retirement on February 2022, calling him an inspiring and passionate athlete, and the sole reason for watching and falling in love with the NFL.

Tom Brady is a Lucky Man

Tom Brady was truly a fortuitous person as he chose the perfect day to watch Kane and Ronaldo battle at Old Trafford. Even though he showcased his support for the Spurs striker, he was truly rooting for Ronaldo and the red devils. The Portuguese striker himself made his presence at Old Trafford after a long period.

Brady witnessed a pure show of shows. Manchester United led towards victory with a score of 3-2 against Tottenham Hotspur. Even though Harry Kane scored a goal, Cristiano Ronaldo unleashed his wrath, striking his second Man Utd. hat-trick, leading to a big victory for them. The former quarterback was among those who gave a standing acclamation to Cristiano.

The quarterback’s support for Manchester came as a surprise, but people have their own choices to root for. Tom Brady appreciated both the soccer stars over Instagram stories and showcases his love for the players and the game of soccer as well.
