Tom Brady’s exit from New England broke millions of hearts in Boston. The three-time NFL MVP decided to end his 20-year-long stay with the Patriots in favor of a new challenge in Florida.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Brady to a two-year deal worth around $60 million. Immediately after his arrival, his former Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski also made a return to the NFL. He signed a short one-year deal with the Bucs.
Head Coach Bill Belichick brought in the former Carolina Panthers man, Cam Newton, to challenge Jarrett Stidham for the starting quarterback berth. The former Heisman Trophy winner impressed coach Belichick since the start of preseason.

The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach publicly praised Newton for the determination he had shown in the last few weeks.

“I am floored that he spent two minutes and 41 seconds on a guy (Cam Newton) who’s been there just 31 days,” Saturday said on the show.
The other hosts argued that Belichick’s public display of admiration towards Newton is not a dig at Tom but rather just a smart coaching move on his end.

Brady and the rest of his offensive supporting cast start the 2020 season with great expectations. The likes of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, OJ Howard, Rob Gronkowski, Cameron Brate, LeSean McCoy, and Leonard Fournette.
Bruce Arians’ offensive team is one of the Top-3 sides in the league this year. At 43, Brady will be eager to prove a point to his mentor who was a ‘father figure’ to him while in New England.
