NFL franchise Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians’ departure has left certain analysts with questions about the motivations of quarterback Tom Brady. The Super Bowl-winning head coach putting a rest to the rumors of a rift with his legendary QB seems to have no effect. Arians were the head coach when Brady joined up with the Buccaneers organization during the 2020 NFL campaign.

Despite Brady getting older every season, many were quite surprised when he decided to announce his retirement. While he did address the rumored problems between him and his QB, Arians was clear in stating that he had a great relationship with Brady.

But it was Brady’s mysterious return, that puzzled some NFL analysts like Rich Eisen.

While discussing Arians announcing his retirement on The Rich Eisen Show, Eisen states, “That’s why everybody thought that he would stick around one more year to win one more with Brady. It was his best chance to win one more with Brady, then out the door. And he goes with a second Super Bowl ring and then is Hall of Fame for sure…. That’s part of why it doesn’t compute why he walks away…Or he (Tom Brady) retired as he didn’t want no piece of Ariens.”

Was Tom Brady not happy with head coach Bruce Arians?

Eisen also speculates that Brady had a big hand in the departure of Arians and that it was essential to his return. He adds that if Arians were not leaving, the 7-time Super Bowl champion might have stayed retired. He also believes that the rumors about the disagreements between the pair are indeed true.
