Matt LaFleur’s Green Bay Packers have been terrific since the start of the 2020 NFL season. They remain unbeaten in the league, having played and won against NFC North teams, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions over the last two weeks. Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, and Allen Lazard have starred for the Packers. But, one prominent player who was sidelined in the last game was star wide receiver, Davante Adams.

As per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, things aren’t looking too good for Green Bay Packers WR. The pacy 27-year-old left the game against Detroit Lions with a hamstring injury. He did not practice with his teammates on Wednesday and remains ‘doubtful’ for Sunday’s clash against reigning NFC South champions, New Orleans Saints.

While talking about his latest setback he said, “It’s too early to tell. It’s feeling better. I think we’re making good progress every day. But we’re just going to wait it out and see.

Adams already has 180+ receiving yards and two receiving TDs to his name this year. He will not rush himself back into action and aggravate an already injured hamstring.

Davante Adams is a game-changer for the Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, is not too excited at the prospect of playing without Adams this weekend. He said“We need Davante. We always need Davante. He’s so damned talented. He’s a game changer.”

Adams has been terrific for the Packers in the last two years. He was their number one wideout in 2019, but dealt with injuries throughout the season. His hamstring niggle could be a minor issue. Nevertheless, coach Matt LaFleur may not want to risk his star wide receiver’s health for the second consecutive year.
