Thanksgiving is fast approaching and all the families are looking forward to breaking bread together after this difficult year. One person who is especially enthusiastic about the day is Miami Dolphins‘ Head Coach Brian Flores.
Flores will have fewer reasons to enjoy the holiday, given that his Dolphins lost to the Denver Broncos on Sunday night. The loss was a disappointing one for the Dolphins, who have a better record than the Broncos this season at 6-4 compared to their 4-6.
Brian Flores spoke to the Miami Herald in a detailed interview opening up about his love for Thanksgiving. However, he also shared his concern about COVID-19 and how it will affect his players this season.

He said, “This is a year of sacrifices. I don’t think we’re any different from families around the country. I’m used to having 30 to 40 people in the house for Thanksgiving. That is not going to be the case this year.”
Brian Flores will be reunited with his players after Thanksgiving when they take on the New York Jets. They will be hoping to win the game this weekend against a Jets team that is yet to register a win this season.
