Tom Brady is perhaps the most recognizable face in the league. Given the longevity of his career, which spans more than two decades, Brady has amassed lots of silverware and, most importantly, experience. With seven Super Bowl championship titles in his treasury, he is often viewed through the lens of a superhuman.

Winning a single Super Bowl title is a great achievement. But doing it seven times is a feat that puts the QB way ahead of the pack. But, alongside the glory that comes with being at the top, like everyone, TB12 deals with hardships. For a 45-year-old, Brady’s athleticism is remarkable. Competing alongside significantly younger peers may not be the easiest of tasks, but if there’s anyone who puts in the work, it’s Brady. Expressing the hardest battle as a veteran, Brady surprised listeners with this unexpected titbit. He said, “The hardest thing for me is the frustration level, I want it so right and when it doesn’t I get so frustrated- that’s probably the hardest battle to fight on a daily basis. You know, ’cause you’re with a twenty-four-year-old, and he’s twenty-four when I was twenty-four I didn’t know sh*t either” It’s hard to picture Brady as a clueless young star, especially after witnessing his legendary career. But, is frustration at his younger peers a sign of old age catching up to the QB?

Brady is perhaps not being entirely honest when he says he was clueless. The QB, who at the time played for the Patriots, was 26 years old when he won his first Super Bowl title. Not many 26-year-olds can say that they’ve done that.

As rumors surrounding the quarterback’s retirement get louder, Brady hasn’t offered the fans any insight. This season, the QB and the Bucs have managed to (barely) make it to the playoffs. A poorly performing division ensured that Tampa Bay did just enough to sneak into the postseason. While fans may not keep their hopes for an eighth title too high, with Brady you can never truly know. TB12 will look forward to taking an upward trajectory in what will be a tough battle ahead.
